One month in with S3

When I was estimating Free Radical’s operating costs, I predicted that S3 storage growth would be linear. That turned out to be very much the case. Here’s a graph of bucket size between April 16, 2017 and May 16, 2017:

Linear S3 growth over one month

By the end of May 2017, I expect to be using about 11GB. At a cost of $0.023 per GB, that should cost about $0.25 per month. Transfer has been averaging about .4GB per day (except yesterday, ya thirsty little woollies!):

Data downloads averaging about .4GB per day over two weeks

At $0.09 per GB, that should come to approximately $1.07 per month.
