Keybase recently announced native support for Mastodon verification. Free Radical is now supported by that system, so you can log into Keybase and prove that you own your Mastodon account to get a spiffy green checkmark on your profile.

Free Radical turns two years old today! Since joining: The fediverse has grown from 250 instances to nearly 2,000 active ones. The network went from 100,000 users to nearly 2.2 million. Free Radical has grown from 1 user (me) to 1,113, with 114,000 toots. Thanks to everyone who’s made this so much fun!

I’m silencing (not blocking) two instances dedicated to NSFW content. If you still want to follow users on them, please do! I mainly don’t want them filling our federated timeline, but I have zero desire to prevent anyone from seeing it who wants to. As a practical matter, I can’t financially afford to maintain mirrors of all their posted content.
